Construction Tender Notice

Ugyen Wangchuck Environmental & Forestry Institute, Lamegonpa, Bumthang is pleased to invite sealed item rate tenders from intending licensed contractors registered with CDB Thimphu for the following works:

The bidders are asked to inspect the site during the office hours from 25/08/08 to 19/09/08. Prior appointments are encouraged for field visit.

Each bidder is required to produce their orginal and valid contract license at the time of collecting the tender documents. Tender forms are avaliable from the AFD, MoA Thimphu & UWEFI, Project office, Lamegonpa, Bumthang during office hours. The tender should be submitted at the Procurement Office, AFD,MoA, Thimphu and will be opened on 24/09/08 at 2:30 pm at DoF Conference Hall Thimphu.

The Ugyen Wangchuck Environmental & Forestry Institute, Lamegonpa: Bumthang, is pleased to announce the vacancy for three female candidates for admission to Certificate in Environmental & Forestry studies course for the academic year 2008-09.

The interested applicants should meet the following academic criteria:

• Class X pass, having at least 50% aggregate and 45 % minimum in Science.

The applicants should submit the original class X mark sheet, original Security Clearance Certificate, a copy of Citizenship Identity Card, and any other relevant documents (eg: Character certificate, meritorious certificate, etc) to the Department of Human Resources, Ministry of Labour & Human Resources, Thimphu or UWEFI, Lamegonpa: Bumthang latest by 10^th September, 2008.

Only shortlisted applicants will be called for interview scheduled on 16^th September, 2008. Shortlisted candidate names will be announced in the Institute’s website and will also be contacted via phone. Therefore, it is important that you leave your contact number while submitting the application

Selection interview will be held at MoLHR, Thimphu.
